Crusher Capacity Charts:
The capacity charts shown apply to material weghing 100 pounds per cubic foot or 1600 kg per cubic meter. The runge of work index is 14 to 18 kwh. The feed moisture is 4%. The crusher is one component of the circuit. As such, its performance is in part dependent on the proper selection and operation of others equipment. Where used to the following factors will enhance crusher capacity and performance.
1\Proper selection of crushing chamber depended on the feed size, the crushing characteristics of the rock and the requirment to the crushing products. The feed size must be smaller than the closed side feed opening.
2\A feed grading containing proper distribution of the particle sizes.
3\Controlled feed rate.
4\proper feed distribution around the crushing chamber.
5\Adequate crusher dischage area.
6\Discharge conveyer sized to carry maximum crusher capacity.
7\Properly sized scalping and closed circuit screens. The following factors will detract from crusher capacity and performance.
1\Sticky material in crusher feed.
2\Fines in crusher feed (smaller than crusher setting) exceeding 10%.
3\Excessive feed moisture.
4\Feed segregation in crusher cavity.
5\Improper feed distribution around circumference of crushing cavity.
6\Lack of feed control.
7\Extremely hard or tough material.
8\Operation of crusher at less than recommented full load countershaft speed.
